
Democrats think the economy is improving. Civiqs’s tracking poll shows that Democrats are more likely to say that the current condition of the economy is fairly or very good (63 percent) than they were a year ago (53 percent).

According to Civiqs’s tracking polling of how many Republicans view Trump favorably, he has virtually the same favorable and unfavorable ratings after the Florida indictment — 77 percent to 12 percent — as he did right before the New York indictment.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has seen his approval rating fall dramatically after announcing his 2024 presidential bid. According to Civiqs, DeSantis has a net approval rating of negative 19 points, with 55% disapproving of him, compared with 36% who have a favorable view.

A recent tracking poll from Civiqs shows that less than half (44 percent) of Black Americans say the current condition of the national economy is fairly bad or worse, down from around 57 percent in late June 2022.
